Usually yes. Hawkin is vertical-agnostic by design — each new vertical is unlocked through a domain-expert partnership rather than us claiming expertise we don’t have. If you bring the domain knowledge, we bring the AI workforce engineering.
We split it three ways, and we’re upfront about it before you sign.
You own your data, your configurations, your business logic, your workflows and anything specific to how your company operates. That’s yours outright, in perpetuity, and it leaves with you.
We own the underlying Hawkin platform, framework and generic components — the same infrastructure every client builds on.
The grey area is the reusable engineering in between. Our standard terms let us generalise non-client-specific components into future products, which is precisely why your build costs a fraction of ground-up development. If you need that closed off, we offer exclusivity within your direct competitor set for a defined period, priced separately.
Bespoke systems are built on the Hawkin platform, so the subscription is part of the engagement rather than a separate purchase decision. Pricing is structured as setup plus recurring platform cost.
Bespoke engagements run Discovery → MVP → full delivery. Discovery is a fixed-scope two to three weeks and produces a firm quote for the rest. A focused single-workflow system typically reaches MVP in six to ten weeks; multi-workflow, org-wide builds run higher and longer. Every project includes a dedicated account manager and a defined delivery schedule.
